Ways to Get Involved
As a Junior Achievement volunteer, you help to reinforce the value of an education to students.
Build company morale by participating in a company-sponsored volunteer program:
We provide training and flexibility to busy schedules. Your organization encourages enthusiastic employees to make a difference in the classroom by volunteering. Learn more.
Sponsor or Donate:
- Directly in the classroom: Schools – Sponsor a class, special programs, or even an entire school.
- In the community: Special Events – Sponsor or attend one of our signature events held throughout the year, host a company-wide Bowl-a-Thon, and more.
Lead by Example:
- Become a member of the JA of Chicago Board of Directors: If you are a senior corporate/business executive, become part of an exclusive group of Chicago top business leaders who care about the future economic stability and future success of young people.
- Become a part of Junior Achievement of Chicago’s Speakers Bureau, which provides access to expert speakers who deliver formal speeches, facilitate discussions, conduct trainings, and lead seminars. JA’s board members and staff are experts in many fields and can serve an organization’s needs for staff meetings, conferences, retreats, and events.
